It is great to be here in this community, and to be able to share the goodness of God with everyone!!
He has been soooo good to me, He has changed my life in so many ways, all for the better. I spent my younger days looking for answers, as the corney ol' Country song says... "in all the wrong places"... and so on... I tried drugs, alcohol, love (as the world knows it... full of conditions and empty promises) ... and then... I found Jesus... I still have hard times... I still get lonely... I still get hurt...I still cry... BUT there is a BIG difference... I have somewhere, someONE to go to find the answers I am looking for... Jesus... He has NEVER let me down!
He delivered me from an abusive marriage before I even knew Him, then He brought my husband that I am married to now together, and we have been married for 11 years, I was saved just after we were married, and I was filled with the Holy Ghost too! When I was younger I was raised in a Missionary Baptist Church, and had been taught the Holy Ghost wasn't real, when I was filled with the Holy Ghost, I had never been to a Pentecostal Church of any kind, I was afraid of them, I was told they were crazy and weird! I was filled with the Holy Ghost in my Mother-in-law's house, and I didn't even know what had happened to me, I didn't know what I had, but I knew it was good!!Jesus immediately began teaching me His word, the Holy Ghost helped to open the scripture up to me like it had never opened up before!My husband was still partying and I was praying for him, it took him another 10 years to give his heart to God, he did this past year!! The 10 years in between were rough, he was determined to "do whatever he wanted to do", no one was going to "tell" him what he ought to do!! God on the other hand had 2 very determined women, who happened to be His dedicated children always before His throne asking for my husbands salvation, (my Mother-in-law and myself) we never let Him forget, and He had promised us both that He would save him, so God was even more determined to save his soul, than he was to run!! He ran for 10 years, but God ran faster!!! Everywhere he went God was there even before he could get there!! PRAISE GOD!!
During those 10 years he flipped a log truck, (it flipped several times) he came out the windshield, over the cab and landed with his neck (which was cut badly - almost cut his head off) on the exhaust pipe and it cauterized his neck and saved his life, kept him from bleeding to death. His neck was broken, and God healed it between one hospital and another!! At one it was broken, badly, and at the next there was no break at all!
He has metal in his leg and arm, he had 15 surgeries in all, 9 were on his back, he has 2 discs removed and it is fused. The doctors are amazed at how he has recovered!!!  UPDATE Nov. 2008: My husband has had his ups and downs, has been in and out, has dranked, and quit drinking several times, it is all part of the journey and although the journey can be long, and sometimes rough, as long as we keep our eyes on where we are going, then it is all worthwhile, because although I don't know how far or how long the journey will take, I do know the final destination, and it is worth it all!
I am now an ordained minister for Jesus... ordained by Faith in Action Fellowship in Little Rock, Ar. and I have 5 grandchildren and I am so blessed!! God is still on the throne... and I am his heir!!!

Wish I could tell you all of what God has done for us, but I would have to write a book (yeah, I almost did).
